Trail Rides

Come and experience the beauty of the Caledon Hills in colorful fall, snowy winter or rejuvenating spring. Trail Rides are available to book September-June by calling the office at (519) 941-4501

All Trail Rides must be booked with the Office prior to arrival. You must be at least 10 years of age to go on a trail ride.


$40 per person (HST Included) for a 1 hour slot (includes short demo, helmet fitting and trail ride). This is a group trail ride and may include other people. All payment MUST be completed before your spot will be reserved.

What to Wear

Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Helmets are available to borrow during your trail ride.

Weather Policy

We reserve the right to cancel a trail ride in the case of:
  • Temperatures greater than 28℃
  • Temperatures lower than -15℃
  • The presence of thunder or lightning in the area.
  • Dangerous trail conditions (ice, slippery, snow too deep).

Cancellation Policy

A 50% refund will be offered for any cancellations that are made at least 2 days prior to the booked date. 100% refund for any cancellations made by Teen Ranch Management.

Guest Requirements

  • Riders must pick horses according to their size.
  • Guests over 250lbs are not permitted to ride.
  • Guests must be 10 or older to ride without a leader. Guests under 10 may be ponied from the ground, not from a horse, unless approved by barn management (ie. having taken lessons or show, etc.).
  • All guests under 18 must wear a helmet.
  • All guests must sign the trail ride sign up form to be permitted to ride.

Guests with Disabilities

  • If a guest is wheelchair bound and unable to walk they may not groom. If the guest can stand hey will be permitted to groom at the barn staff's discretion.
  • If a guest has severe disabilites a 2:1 ratio of staff to guests must be applied; one staff member to lead horse, one staff member to assist the guest.
  • If guest is incapable of mounting the horse alone, they are not permitted to ride.
  • Anyone wearing a cast may not ride.
